London Museum has launched retail, leisure, and office leasing opportunities at its new location at Smithfield General Market in Farringdon. Retail and leisure leasing consultancy Bruce Gillingham Pollard has been appointed to manage the leasing for six units, which form a parade around the new museum. The units, called 'Houses', occupy a unique around the 150,000 sq ft General Market building, an architectural landmark designed by Sir Horace Jones, whose legacy includes Tower Bridge and Leadenhall Market.

Sheet Anchor Evolve, part of M Core, has completed the acquisition of a 38,000 sq ft retail parade and multi-storey car park in Wimbledon. The properties at the parade are currently let to five tenants, including Metro Bank, Joe & The Juice, Itsu, Fitness Space, and a brand new 14,000 sq ft Aldi store. Hobbs has opened a new store at London Bridge Station, its 11th in the capital and 70th across the UK and Ireland. The 1,340 sq ft store offers the womenswear brand's collections alongside a click-and-collect service. This follows the retailer's recent opening at St Pancras station, and marks a continuation of the brand's strategy to open in high-traffic travel retail spaces. Hobbs' new store is one of three that the retailer is opening in the capital this year as it looks to expand across the city.
