Competitive socialising operator Lane7 has opened its second location in Sheffield at British Land's Meadowhall shopping centre. The new venue features boutique bowling lanes as well as food and cocktails. It joins Lane7's existing site in Sheffield on Matilda Street, and enables the operator to reach a wider audience across the wider South Yorkshire region. Lane7 joins Meadowhall’s growing leisure offer, which includes recent reinvestment from Vue and the upcoming opening of Play Padel.

Meadowhall in Sheffield has welcomed the renewals of three aspirational jewellery retailers. Goldsmiths has renewed at its 5,571 sq ft unit on Upper High Street, which incorporates a dedicated Rolex boutique alongside the jeweller's core offer. The new shop-in-shop offers a range of Rolex watches, complemented by a dedicated pre-owned section. Meanwhile, Swarovski has recommitted to its 1,223 sq ft space on Lower High Street.

Meadowhall in Sheffield has completed the signings of fashion brands Mint Velvet and Belstaff, as Michael Kors commits to a store refit at the scheme. All three brands will be located on The Avenue, which features a mix of aspirational fashion, lifestyle, and accessories retailers. Womenswear brand Mint Velvet is set to open a 1,700 sq ft store on The Avenue's Upper Level, opposite Flannels and Sweaty Betty.
