Meadowhall has announced a flurry of new F&B and leisure deals, as seven brands invest in over 60,000 sq ft of space at the Sheffield shopping destination. Leading the signings is Wingstop, which has signed for a 4,574 sq ft unit on the scheme's Lower Level Oasis. This marks a debut for the operator in South Yorkshire and forms part of the restaurant brand's ongoing expansion plans. Adjacent to Wingstop, Vue has recommitted to Meadowhall to the scheme, renewing the lease on its 43,304 sq ft cinema.

Sephora UK has opened its first ever store in Yorkshire, taking a 3,389 sq ft unit at Meadowhall in Sheffield. The opening marks the beauty retailer's first of the summer, and follows the brand's arrival at Liverpool ONE in May. This follows a rapid period of expansion for Sephora in 2024, during which it opened stores in Manchester's Trafford Centre, Eldon Square in Newcastle, the Metrocentre in Gateshead, and Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent.

Sheet Anchor Evolve, part of M Core, has acquired Vicar Lane, an open-air retail destination in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Spanning 202,000 sq ft, the asset comprises 34 units let to a mixture of fashion, food, and essential service retailers. It is also supplemented by a 400-space car park. Tenants at Vicar Lane include JD Sports, H&M, Superdrug, Iceland, River Island, and The Works. The scheme also includes civic space at St James' Square, which features a 12 metre LED screen, and is adjacent to several regeneration projects such as the Chesterfield Waterside scheme and the future HS2 station.
