Space NK opens first Leicester store at Highcross

Space NK has opened its first store in Leicester at the Highcross shopping centre. The retailer – which operates over 76 stores in the UK and Ireland – has opened next to Skechers on the lower mall, and becomes the first beauty retailer to open at the scheme. This follows the recent openings of fashion retailer Mango and Asian restaurant Maki & Ramen at Highcross. Space NK's opening will be followed shortly by the arrival of Dutch wellbeing brand Rituals, which will open its doors at the shopping centre in July.

AEW UK REIT has completed the acquisition of Freemans Leisure Park in Leicester for £11,150,000, reflecting a net initial yield of 10.6%. The property – located on an 8.4-acre freehold site one mile south of the city centre – spans 108,771 sq ft across five units with service yards and 582 car parking spaces. Rituals continues UK expansion with Highcross Leicester signing

Rituals is set to continue its aggressive expansion across the UK with the opening of a new store at Highcross Leicester this July. The wellbeing brand – which operates over 1,150 stores worldwide – will be taking a 2,300 sq ft space located near Zara and Therapie on the scheme's upper mall. The store will offer products such as shower gels, scented candles, skincare products, and home fragrances, and also feature immersive elements.
