Derbion in the East Midlands is set to welcome 10 padel courts and a new skatepark after reaching agreements with community sports operators Social Sports Society and Flo Skatepark. Social Sports Society has signed a five-year lease for 54,773 sq ft of space within part of the former Eagle Market area. This will be the brand's third location outside of London, joining venues in Birmingham and Manchester.

Victoria's Secret has opened the doors to its new flagship store at Derbion shopping centre in Derby. The retailer's new 5,712 sq ft store – taken on a 10-year lease – offers the brand's full range of bras, lingerie, sleepwear, swimwear, and fragrances. It also offers products from PINK, Victoria's Secret's sister brand. Beth McDonald, managing director at Derbion, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to officially welcome Victoria’s Secret to Derbion.

Derbion shopping centre in Derby is set to expand its fashion offering with the arrivals of Cornish brand Seasalt and Midlands-based clothing company Luke 1977 later this year. Seasalt has signed a 10-year lease for a 2,400 sq ft unit which will become its first store at a major East Midlands shopping destination. Meanwhile, Luke 1977 will occupy a 1,200 sq ft space, its 15th store in the UK.
