Family-run jewellers F.Hinds is set to open a new store at The Centre Livingston, with Marble Buffet also joining the scheme. F.Hinds' 1,395 sq ft store – which will be located next to Ryman – is due to open in August. The store joins 118 others across the UK and will offer a range of products alongside services such as jewellery and watch repairs. Meanwhile, restaurant operator Marble Buffet will be opening a 15,770 sq ft, 380-seater eatery above Nando's on Almondvale Boulevards, set to open in May 2026.

Livingston Designer Outlet in Scotland has seen significant increases in sales for retailers that have recently invested in store upgrades and refits. One example is Le Creuset, which relocated to a larger store in November 2024 and has since seen an improvement in its sales results. The kitchenware retailer recorded a year-on-year sales increase of 48% across November and December, as well as a 33% uplift in footfall during the same period.

Nespresso is set to open its first and only boutique in Edinburgh at St James Quarter. Located on the destination's third level, the coffee brand's 1,173 sq ft space will feature its latest experiential retail concept. The Nespresso boutique will include a ‘Coffee as an Art’ bar, designed to enable visitors to discover the craft of coffee, sample new flavours, and enjoy learn new recipes with classes hosted by the Nespresso team.
