Superdrug is set to open at Highcross Leicester this autumn, as the shopping destination looks to expand its wellbeing and beauty offering. The health and beauty retailer has taken a 10-year lease for two units on the lower mall, previously home to Paperchase and Designer Furniture Store, for a total of 9,000 sq ft of space. The signing follows the recent arrivals of fellow beauty and wellbeing retailers, Rituals and Space NK, at Highcross Leicester.

Space NK has opened its first store in Leicester at the Highcross shopping centre. The retailer – which operates over 76 stores in the UK and Ireland – has opened next to Skechers on the lower mall, and becomes the first beauty retailer to open at the scheme. This follows the recent openings of fashion retailer Mango and Asian restaurant Maki & Ramen at Highcross. Space NK's opening will be followed shortly by the arrival of Dutch wellbeing brand Rituals, which will open its doors at the shopping centre in July.
