Adventure Leisure, the group behind the Mulligans, BUNKERS, Total Ninja, and Ninja Warrior UK leisure concepts, is set to open its 14th Mulligans venue in Guildford town centre. Mulligans Guildford will occupy a 17,000 sq ft site on North Street, created via the amalgamation of two vacant units. TGI Fridays formerly occupied the larger, ground floor unit, whilst the basement unit was previously home to a nightclub and then a pop-up leisure venue, Slice.

The former House of Fraser department store in Guildford has been placed on the market with an asking price of £10m. The freehold property – which fronts on to the town's North Street and High Street – is being marketed by Green&Partners. With an approximate gross internal area of 185,347 sq ft, a £10m purchase of the asset would represent a capital value of £53.95m per square foot. White Lion Walk in Guildford has welcomed three independent retailers on a rent-free basis as part of an incubator project to fill empty units. The Redevco-owned asset recently hosted a panel discussion event with SaveTheHighStreet.org and the retailers to showcase the success of the project. The project – which offered budding retailers the opportunity to win eight-weeks of rent free space – received over 100 applications from entrepreneurs looking to secure space in Guildford's town centre.
