Lidl proposes mixed-use scheme in Worksop

Lidl has submitted proposals to create a new store in Worksop along with almost 100 residential properties. The retailer's plans include the creation of a 20,500 sq ft supermarket alongside up to 89 homes on a brownfield site adjacent to Worksop Train Station. The site has previously been granted planning consent for a retail development after Tesco lodged plans to build a food store in 2011, however since then other applications have been refused.
