Evolve Estates strengthens Halifax scheme with new signing and renewals

Evolve Estates, part of M Core, has completed two lease renewals and a new lease agreement at Woolshops Shopping Centre in Halifax. Phone retailer Cell Buddy is set to join the scheme, signing a five-year lease for a 925 sq ft space within the shopping centre. Meanwhile, independent café Gardiners has recommitted to the scheme, extending the lease for its 1,793 sq ft unit by an additional seven years.

Bradford's largest sensory room opens at The Broadway

Asset manager Ellandi has launched Bradford's largest sensory room at The Broadway shopping centre. The custom-built room was officially opened by Bradford’s new Lord Mayor Councillor Bev Mullaney. The space – which was designed by Shipley-based company SpaceKraft – has been praised as a serene environment for neurodiverse people. Features include mood lighting, mirrors, a musical hand and touch wall, an LED colour curtain, and an acoustic bed.

CBRE offloads West Yorkshire retail park

CBRE Investment Management has completed the sale of Alston Retail Park in Keighley, West Yorkshire to an overseas investor. The 98,961 sq ft retail park is anchored by B&Q with other occupiers including Dunelm, Carpetright, Home Bargains, Fabbs Sofas, Connection Flooring, and NHS. Xprop acted for CBRE IM. This is not the first time this year Xprop has disposed of a retail park asset on behalf of CBRE IM, having completed the sale of Wey Retail Park in West Byfleet in January.
