Plans have now been submitted for the regeneration of Stocksbridge district centre in Sheffield with a £46 million mixed use development. At a meeting of the North & West Area Planning Board in November 2008, the application was deferred, pending further information. A new committee date will be given once the planning officers at Sheffield City Council are satisfied that they have all the information required by the planning board in order that a final decision can be reached.
