Meadowhall in Sheffield has completed a trio of deals, with JD Sports, Superdrug, and Ann Summers upsizing their stores to a combined 42,278 sq ft of space. Nearly trebling its presence at the shopping centre, JD Sports is taking five adjacent units to create a 29,225 sq ft store, its largest in the region and second-largest in the country. Opening in 2026, the new store will feature a 63 metre frontage, dedicated brand and product areas, and in-store activations.

Sephora is set to open at British Land's Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield, marking a regional debut for the beauty retailer. Located on High Street, within the centre's upper level, the 3,389 sq ft store brings a range of brands to Yorkshire for the first time. This includes "Only at Sephora" names such as Makeup by Mario, Haus Labs from Lady Gaga, and Tarte Cosmetics. Sarah Boyd, managing director at Sephora UK, said: “We are thrilled to continue our exciting UK expansion plans with the opening our first store in Yorkshire at Meadowhall in Sheffield.

Frasers Group has appointed Doncaster-based property consultancy Barnsdales to undertake the property and asset management of Frenchgate Shopping Centre. The retail group acquired the 770,000 sq ft Doncaster scheme – which is home to brands such as Next, H&M and TK Maxx – last Summer for an undisclosed feee. Jason Barnsdale, managing director of Barnsdales, said: “With its own transport hub, the Doncaster Interchange, and adjoining railway station, it’s certain that when people come to Doncaster, they come to the Frenchgate Shopping Centre.
