Description

Kirkby Town Centre is a 225,000 sq ft open air community shopping centre in the heart of Kirkby, a town located six miles north east of Liverpool.

The shopping centre is adjacent to key public services and a popular market, and has an occupier line-up comprising a number of high street retailers such as Iceland, Home Bargains, Superdrug and Costa. Kirkby Town Centre was acquired by Knowsley Council in November 2019.

This is the first time that the Council has owned the town centre and it will now kick-start a long-planned retail development in the area, which includes the construction of a 45,000 sq ft Morrisons superstore.
