Dalton Park Outlet in the North East is set to expand its fashion lineup with the addition of Belstaff. The British fashion retailer – which was acquired by Castore in 2025 – will join the outlet shopping centre, located in County Durham, this June. Belstaff joins the existing fashion lineup at Dalton Park Outlet that includes the likes of Calvin Klein, Castore, Levi’s and Tommy Hilfiger. Sunderland's The Bridges secures 10 new stores in first year of new ownership

The Bridges Shopping Centre in Sunderland has secured 10 new lettings, including seven relocations, since its acquisition by M Core in summer 2024. Leading the centre's leasing activity is the relocation of TK Maxx, which moved from outside the scheme into a large new unit next to Primark in early 2026. This momentum continued with a flurry of national and international arrivals. Two regional firsts were secured, including pretzel brand Auntie Anne’s, which opened its first North East site in September 2025, and pan-Asian noodle chain Chopstix, which launched in December 2025.

Inditex picks Metrocentre for one of three debut Lefties stores

Metrocentre in Gateshead is set to welcome Inditex's Lefties brand for one of its first three stores in the UK. Set to occupy a central unit at the interchange between Red and Green Mall on Town Square, the store will stock a range of collections for women, men, teen girls, kids, babies and newborns, as well as footwear, home, and accessories. Set to open in the winter of 2026, the Metrocentre store will be Lefties' first in the North East, as the brand makes its entrance into the UK market.
