European-style restaurant chain Caffè Concerto has opened its first location in the north at Redical's Victoria Leeds. Located within Victoria Gate, the 2,000 sq ft restaurant features an art deco-inspired bar and accommodates up to 138 covers alongside outdoor seating. Caffè Concerto Leeds offers a range of menu choices including Italian-inspired classics, afternoon tea, and cakes. The restaurant becomes the brand's 22nd in the UK, with Caffè Concerto operating 20 locations in Greater London and one at Birmingham's Grand Central Station.

Supermarket Income REIT has acquired a Sainsbury's supermarket in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire for £49.7m. The asset comprises a 113,348 sq ft omnichannel supermarket alongside a petrol filling station situated over an 8.5 acre site. Sainsbury's has occupied the site for over 30 years, which has been acquired with an unexpired lease term of 11 years with annual inflation-linked rent reviews.

Dune London is set to open at Junction 32 outlet shopping village in Castleford, Yorkshire. The brand will open a 2,257 sq ft store later this month, offering a range of footwear and accessories for men and women. The store at Junction 32 will form part of Dune London's expansion, with the brand now operating 52 standalone stores in the UK, including four in Yorkshire. Dune London's arrival comes during a busy 2024 at Junction 32, during which it has welcomed brands such as Lucy & Yak, Saltrock, Castore, and Sofa.
