Railpen's proposals to develop Beehive, a 1 million sq ft lab-led mixed use scheme in Cambridge, have been green lit by the Rt Hon Steve Reed OBE, the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities, and Local Government. Currently a retail park, Railpen plans to transform Beehive into a world-class innovation park which features workspaces for technology businesses, laboratories for research, a new community park, a youth and community hub, a science centre, alongside around 20 new shops, restaurants and cafés.

Railpen and its development partner Socius have appointed Bidwells as the leasing agent for the ground floor amenity units within Mill Yard, a 180,000 sq ft mixed-use campus currently under construction in Cambridge. Cube Real Estate, on behalf of The Hathaway Opportunity Fund, has acquired a drive-through restaurant in Newmarket, Suffolk. Located on Oaks Drive, the property is let to BKUK Flame Ltd, trading as Burger King with 11 years unexpired on the lease. The restaurant is situated adjacent to Studlands Retail Park, which The Hathaway Opportunity Fund already holds in its property investment portfolio.
