Sports Direct has opened a 31,000 sq ft store in Kingston upon Thames. The two-storey location offers a selection of sports and lifestyle clothing and footwear for men, women, and children, and also brings together brands from across the Frasers Group’s portfolio, including GAME and USC. The Pet Vets is set to take over the former Poundland unit at The Centre in Feltham, West London. The veterinary surgery has agreed a new 10-year lease for a 5,200 sq ft unit, which is expected to open for trading in around five months' time. The Pet Vet (formerly The Vet) is one of the country's fastest-growing veterinary services provider, and operates a growing network of practices that look to focus on accessible and high-quality care for pets.

Sole advisers appointed at Hampshire shopping centre

Sovereign Network Group (SNG) has appointed FMX Urban Property Advisers as sole advisers at Princes Mead Shopping Centre in Farnborough, Hampshire. The 149,000 sq ft shopping centre is anchored by tenants including Asda, Smyths Toys, Boots, Decathlon, and JD Sports. NewRiver is the scheme's asset manager. SNG acquired the shopping centre in 2023 and is now looking to focus on a strategy for Princes Mead that will strengthen its position as the dominant retail offer in Farnborough.
