The brand's debut site, located on Laurie Walk, spans 11,168 sq ft and features 11 'day-in-the-life' rooms, including a vets, a village fire station, a village dentist, a medical centre, stables, and a sensory room. The space also hosts café facilities for parents, and a soft play area for younger children.

Lakeside to serve up 50,000 sq ft padel club

Lakeside shopping centre in Essex has signed Club de Padel for its third club in the UK and its first in the South of England. The padel operator's new venue will span approximately 50,000 sq ft and comprise 12 courts, with four situated outdoors and eight located inside. The space will also feature a clubhouse with a licensed bar, that will also offer coffee, as well as equipment from the brand's retail range.

Landsec ups stake in Bluewater

Landsec has completed the acquisition of an additional 10% stake in the Bluewater shopping centre in Kent for £95m. The real estate investment trust said the acquisition price represents a yield of 7.4%, based on the net rental income that the group's existing investment is currently generating. Landsec said that the acquisition increases its ownership interest in Bluewater to 74% and improves the operational flexibility of its overall investment, driving additional efficiency benefits.
