Development and investment firm Robert Hitchins has made two appointments to the on-site management team at the yet-to-open Cotswolds Designer Outlet. Paul Lacey has been appointed to the role of operations manager, whilst Hannah Swithenbank takes on the role of marketing and engagement manager. Led by centre manager Adrian Field, the management team is now working alongside the project and construction team in preparation for the opening of Phase 1 of the scheme this summer.

Peel Retail & Leisure has announced that Gloucester Quays saw record Christmas trading in 2024, capping off a year of growth at the outlet shopping destination. Across November and December, retail sales at Gloucester Quays increased by 6.3% compared to 2023 – which was also a record year – whilst food and beverage sales were up by 7.6%. This Christmas performance was bolstered by a free-to-attend market, which ran for the 12th time and featured over 100 stalls and an ice rink.
