French Connection is set to open a new store at Caledonia Park, the designer outlet village in Gretna, Scotland. The fashion brand's new location will span 2,200 sq ft and is set to open within the coming weeks, offering a range of womenswear and accessories. The arrival of French Connection at Caledonia Park will add to the centre's existing fashion offer, which includes the likes of POLO Ralph Lauren, Kate Spade New York, and Calvin Klein.

Caledonia Park, the premium designer outlet village in Gretna, Scotland, saw a record-breaking year for sales and performance in 2024. Over the course of the year, the destination also introduced seven new brands and secured a number of long-term renewals. In 2024, Caledonia Park saw total sales surpass 2023 levels, whilst footfall was up by 8% year-on-year. Standout categories included health and beauty and F&B, which saw year-on-year increases in sales of 26% and 16% respectively.

The Eden Centre in Carlisle has changed hands after being acquired by the Llandudno-based Bearmont Group. The centre also includes The Market Hall, a former Wilko store, a Tk Maxx Store, and a retail arcade, and is one of the few covered Victorian markets remaining in the UK. The scheme – which was previously owned by BAE Systems 2000 Pension Funds Trustees Limited – is also home to a number of independent businesses, including a greengrocer, a butcher, a flower shop, as well as several cafes and food outlets.
