Aldi has completed the acquisition of a 3.5 acre site at The Airfields in Deeside, north Wales, from Praxis Group. The transaction follows planning approval for a 20,613 sq ft Aldi supermarket, a Greggs drive-through restaurant, and electric vehicle charging stations within the scheme. The Airfields in Deeside is a major mixed-use development from Praxis, extending to over 244 acres and forming part of the Northern Gateway site in the Deeside Enterprise Zone.

Estama has been appointed as asset manager for Island Green Retail Park in Wrexham, on behalf of Focus Fund. The appointment marks the second collaboration between Focus Fund and Estama, following the latter's appointment to manage the Kingdom Shopping Centre, Glenrothes. Spanning 140,000 sq ft, the scheme is the city's dominant retail asset and features 14 units let to occupiers including Asda Living, Next, Iceland, Smyths Toys, Food Warehouse, Costa Coffee, Poundland, and Heron Foods.
