Braintree Village is a large designer outlet village with shops, restaurants and entertainment. Occupiers include: M&S, Clarks, Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Barbour, Karen Millen, Jaeger, Ted Baker, Bose, Osprey London, Lacoste, Reiss, Le Creuset, Dune London and Perfume Shop.
Braintree Shopping & Leisure Park provides 200,000 sq ft of prime retail and leisure space. Recent lettings include tenants such as TK Maxx, Carpetright, and Las Iguanas, which all add to the broad tenant mix. A planning application has been submitted to extend the current Next unit to the new Next Home format store, providing an anchor store of 50,000 sq ft GIA. Planning permission has been obtained for a new 55,000 sq ft B&Q store on a nearby site, allowing for a subdivision of their current 37,000 sq ft unit at Braintree Shopping Park. The initiative will provide units from 10,000-20,000 sq ft of open A1 retail space (plus mezzanine).
A new retail park to be built immediately adjacent to the hugely popular Freeport Braintree Outlet Centre. The new retail park will extend to approximately 70,000 sq ft, constructed to a modern building specification, with the ability to install mezzanine floors. The proposed configuration is shown on the attached scheme layout drawing, however, it will be possible to include certain adaptations, based upon individual occupier requirements.
