Arc'teryx will open its first store in Scotland in Edinburgh City Centre. The Canadian technical outerwear brand – which also operates three stores in London and one in Manchester – will open in Edinburgh in 2027. With over 150 stores globally, Arc'teryx is known for its high-performance outerwear and equipment for mountain sports including skiing, climbing, hiking and running. A Sainsbury's-anchored retail park in Livingston, Scotland, has been placed on the investment market with an asking price of £34,450,000, reflecting a net initial yield of 6.75%. Almondvale South Retail Park extends to approximately 146,237 sq ft and is fully let to four national retailers. The anchor tenant Sainsbury's – which accounts for 68% of the scheme's total rental income – recently completed a lease regear providing a term certain of circa 19 years.

Hollister to open first Scottish outlet store at Livingston Designer Outlet

Hollister is set to open its first outlet store in Scotland at Livingston Designer Outlet this winter. The fashion retailer will open a 8,000 sq ft store, occupying a space vacated by Nike following the brand's relocation into a significantly expanded store. Hollister will join an established lineup of fashion retailers at Livingston Designer Outlet that includes Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and Levi's.
