Marks & Spencer is set to open its third food store in a fortnight in Farnham, Surrey this week. The Farnham store, which opens on Wednesday 25th, spans 18,600 sq ft and is one of 12 former Homebase sites that M&S is redeveloping. Last week, the retailer opened a 16,000 sq ft store in Luton Bramingham, also a former Homebase unit, as well as a 15,000 sq ft food store at Hatfield Oldings Corner.

Mango is set to open a new store at Festival Place in Basingstoke later this year. The fashion retailer's 7,104 sq ft space features the brand's 'New Med' concept, and offer a range of women's and men's clothing. Mango joins over 180 retailers at Festival Place, and becomes the scheme's first major signing since MDSR Investment's acquisition of the scheme in April for £99.1m. This latest opening forms part of Mango's latest strategic plan, which includes a roadmap to expand the retailer's store portfolio across the UK.
