Southampton Road Retail Park in Salisbury and Merantun Way leisure park in West London have been placed on the market with guide prices of £25,050,000 and £24,300,000, respectively. The asking prices represent net initial yields of 7%, with the latter increasing to 7.

Castlepoint Shopping Park in Bournemouth has celebrated a bumper festive period, having recorded an increase in footfall in the run-up to Christmas. During the four weeks to 28 December, visitor numbers to the scheme were up by 46% compared to the same period the year prior. This built on the growth in footfall in November, which saw numbers increase by 22% compared to 2022. The scheme benefitted from the arrival of a trio of big brands arriving in 2023, with Holland & Barrett, Hotel Chocolat, and Nike all opening at Castlepoint.

Deichmann has opened at Railpen's Old George Mall in Salisbury, with the brand investing over half a million pounds into the new store. The European footwear giant has launched in a two-storey 6,000 sq ft unit adjacent to H&M and the soon-to-arrive Primark, which is set to open a 29,700 sq ft store later this year.. The new store offers the retailer's latest concept, which is designed to offer a more spacious, lighter, and enhanced shopping experience.
