Templars Square, the shopping centre located in Cowley, Oxford, has appointed Carla Scaroni as centre manager. Scaroni brings over 10 years of experience to the scheme, having previously worked with a range of national and independent retailers, local authorities, and charity partners. Her appointment comes as Templars Square celebrates its 60th anniversary. Carla Scaroni said: “I’m delighted to join the team at Templars Square, especially following such a significant milestone in the centre’s history.

British Land has appointed Green & Partners a joint leasing agents at The Orchard Centre in Didcot. Spanning 300,000 sq ft, The Orchard Centre is anchored by Sainsbury's and an M&S Foodhall, with other occupiers including Tk Maxx, Next, H&M, Boots, Mountain Warehouse, Dunelm, Nando's, and Loungers. Hammerson has agreed to sell its interest in Bicester Village owner Value Retail to Silver Bidco, a special purpose vehicle established by affiliates of investment firm L Catterton, for an enterprise value of £1.5bn. The REIT said the transaction will generate cash proceeds of around £600m which are intended to be deployed in line with its stated capital allocation framework, namely to further strengthen its balance sheet, invest in growth and value creation, and enhance distributions to shareholders.
