Spanning 8,438 sq ft, the new store will offer a range of home accessories, including vases, faux florals, rugs, cushions, throws and ornaments. Established in 1875, Woods Furniture currently operates two stores in Dorchester, and will join an existing homeware line-up at Castlepoint that includes the likes of Home Sense, Easy Bathrooms, ProCook, TK Maxx and Next.

JD Gyms takes former Wilko at Bournemouth shopping centre

JD Gyms has opened at Richmond Gardens Shopping Centre in Bournemouth, taking the unit previously occupied by Wilko. The 30,000 sq ft space opened last week following a three-month build, and features cardio and strength equipment, a free weights section, a dedicated glute zone, and a studio dedicated to hybrid training. The gym also benefits from free parking for up to two hours and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
