Bloomfield is the dominant shopping centre for Bangor, providing the bulk of the town’s retail function. Forestside Shopping Centre is a 304,000 sq ft stand-alone shopping mall located in an affluent catchment on the outskirts of Belfast. As Belfast’s premier out of town shopping centre, it occupies a prime location in the south east of the city at the junction of Saintfield Road and Upper Knockbreda Road. The three anchor stores - Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s and Dunnes Stores are complemented by leading high street names including: Next, H&M, Goldsmiths, Clarks, Monsoon, New Look, Oasis, Warehouse, H Samuel, Molton Brown and Boots. The very strong fashion statement with a line-up of top brands, which is complemented by the other uses and the external trading, creates a real attraction and sense of place for visitors from the wider community. In 2015 the H&M followed NEXT and extended its store at the heart of the central mall by a further 2,800 sq ft to provide almost 16,500 of fashion. 2016 has already seen the food and beverage offer improved further with the newly extended M&S’ Café Revive being joined by a 3,187 sq ft Caffe Nero.

Park Centre comprises over 30 retail outlets with excellent letting space and opportunities. The Centre provides free surface car parking and designated disabled parking. Tenants at the site include Dunnes Stores, New Look, Iceland and Superdrug among others.

Footfall for 2009 averaged 190,000.

Connswater Shopping Centre and Retail Park (c.358,000 sq ft) is located 2 miles from Belfast City Centre and provides the principle retail facilities for the densely populated area of East Belfast which has a population of c. 150,000 people within a 10 minute drive time. Major tenants within the scheme include New Look, Boots, Poundland, H Samuel, Perfume Shop, Peacocks, Optical Express, Clarks and Argos The scheme benefits from 1,642 free car parking spaces.

The 350,000 sq ft shopping centre and 120,000 sq ft retail park is anchored by Primark, Sainsbury's, TK Maxx and JD Sports. The Grove Shopping Centre is located on Market Street, adjacent to both St Partick Exhibition Centre, South Eastern + Translink Bus Centre, Regional College and forms the prime retailing pitch in Downpatrick town centre.
