Lone Star Funds has appointed Knight Frank to market Aberdeen's Union Square, with an asking price of £175m. Extending to 550,000 sq ft, Union Square is the dominant retail provision in Aberdeen and comprises a retail park alongside an enclosed retail and leisure mall. The scheme has recently seen the upsize of of M&S into a new 100,000 sq ft anchor unit on the retail park, with other recent upsizes at centre including Tk Maxx and Apple.

BPerfect is set to open its third store in Scotland at the Trinity Centre in Aberdeen. The cosmetics brand – which was founded by Brendan McDowell in Belfast in 2012 – is stocked globally and has 14 stores across the UK and Ireland. This latest store will open in September and stock the brand's full range of products across categories including makeup, tanning, and skincare. Kenny Bruce, centre manager for Trinity Aberdeen, said: “It’s fantastic to bring BPerfect to the Trinity Centre, a brand that further enhances the centres retail offering, supporting our commitment to bring new brands to Aberdeen.
