Prescot is a town within Merseyside, within the administrative area of Knowsley, approximately 7 miles east of Liverpool and 30 miles west of Manchester. Junction 7 of the M62 is approximately 3 miles to the south east of the town and junction 7 of the M57 is about 1 mile to the west. The A58 passes through to the north of the town, linking St Helens to Liverpool. Prescot Shopping Centre is situated in the centre of Prescot, immediately to the south of Eccleston Street, the main shopping street in the town. There are two entrances to the centre from Eccleston Street with an entrance directly from the car park as well as a pedestrian entrance point leading from Market Place into the rear car park.
