Description

Monks Cross Shopping is one of the UK's prime regional shopping destinations and attracts shoppers both locally and from afar.  It is an exciting and dynamic retail centre with over 300,000 sq ft of some of the UK's favourite retail and leisure brands  The draw of this shopping destination will strengthen over the next few years with the now  consented development of Monks Cross Vangarde on the adjoining Oakgate site located just to the south of Jockey Lane.  A further 19,000 sq ft has been allocated to restaurants and kiosks. 

Location

Located a mile from York's outer ring road, the A1237 and A64, the surrounding regional road network is easily accessible. Leeds via the A1(M), Scarborough via the A64, Harrogate via the A59 and Hull via the A1079 are all reachable within one hour's drive time.
Silver Line (9) provides a frequent bus service every 10 minutes connecting York City Centre, the park and ride and Monks Cross Shopping. The shopping centre is also served by a further 3 bus (12, 20 and 20A) routes.
