Glenbrook Investments has sold Springfields Retail Park in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, to FPG UK for a figure slightly ahead of the £12.5m asking price. With a total area of 75,000 sq ft, Springfields Retail Park comprises five units and two drive-throughs. Tenants include B&M, The Food Warehouse, Pets at Home, Salvation Army, and Halfords. Multi-Realm, which specialises in the management of retail and leisure destinations, has been awarded the operating mandate for the Trentham Estate in the West Midlands. The Trentham Estate – which is owned by funds managed by Blackstone – is a leisure and shopping destination set within a 725-acre site near Stoke-on-Trent. Features of the estate include gardens, an outdoor shopping village, restaurants and cafés, and a garden centre.

Supermarket Income REIT has completed the acquisition of a Tesco supermarket in Stoke-on-Trent for £34.7m, reflecting a net initial yield of 7.5%. Constructed in 1994, the 54,451 sq ft net sales area supermarket sits on a 8.7 acre site and is supplemented by a petrol filling station, also included in the acquisition. The store support's Tesco's online operations through both home delivery and click-and-collect services.
