Footwear and sportswear retailer Footasylum is set to open a new store at Trinity Leeds. Opening in April, the 12,000 sq ft store will look to build on the retailer's existing presence in Leeds, following the performance of its former store at The Core shopping centre and the brand's pop-up at Trinity Leeds last year. The new store will be located on the scheme's lower ground floor, in the unit formerly occupied by Superdrug and opposite Mango.

Knight Frank has acquired Westgate Retail Park in Wakefield for over €25m (c.£21.9m) on behalf of Iroko Zen, a French real estate investment trust (REIT). Spanning 143,192 sq ft, the retail park comprises 15 units and is fully let to retailers including JYSK, Currys, Pets at Home, and KFC. Nearby retailers and operators include PureGym, Wickes, Dunelm, B&Q, Mecca Bingo, and Cineworld. The scheme has a weighted average unexpired lease term of 4.

Victoria Leeds has welcomed the arrival of three brands, all of which have made their debuts in the north of England. Sustainable outerwear brand Finisterre has opened a 2,464 sq ft store within Victoria Quarter. The space showcases the brand's full lifestyle collection alongside its surfwear and outerwear ranges. This follows the arrival of Arabian Oud, with the Middle Eastern fragrance brand opening its second store outside of London.
