Snap Fitness leads nine deals at Lincolnshire retail scheme

Kennedy Way in Immingham, Lincolnshire, has completed nine deals totalling 30,000 sq ft, led by Snap Fitness. The gym operator has agreed to take an 8,500 sq ft unit on a 20-year lease, offering a 24/7 club with a dedicated Reformer Pilates studio alongside an infrared sauna and recovery suite. Other anchor tenants that have signed at the scheme include Heron Foods, which has taken a 6,250 sq ft unit on a 10-year lease; Starbucks, which has agreed a 10-year lease for a 1,705 sq ft unit; and Domino's, which has taken a 1,535 sq ft unit on a 10-year lease.

M Core acquires convenience retail asset in Lincolnshire

M Core has completed the acquisition of Kennedy Way in Immingham, North Lincolnshire, a 46,001 sq ft community retail centre comprising 20 units. The property collective said the purchase strengthens its commitment to revitalising essential local shopping destinations across the UK. The retail parade is anchored by Tesco, B&M, and Home Bargains and benefits from a dedicated car park. At the point of acquisition, five retail units were vacant, with offers received on three and discussions ongoing with a number of parties on the remaining units.

Canada Life hands Grimsby retail park £4.5m price tag

Canada Life Asset Management has placed a retail park in Grimsby on the market for £4.46m. Constructed in 1997, High Point Retail Park spans 33,070 sq ft and is currently home to Currys and Dreams. Wren Kitchens signed a lease for the third and final unit in July and is yet to open. Currys has been in occupation since 1997 and renewed in 2019, whilst Dreams has traded since 2018 and renewed in 2023.
