Newcrest, one of the UK’s leading developers and investors in community and neighbourhood real estate, are in the process of developing this new neighbourhood centre following a pre-let to the Co-operative Food in respect of the anchor convenience store. The new development incorporates a further three retail units from 800 sq ft to 1,000 sq ft, which could potentially be combined to provide a single unit of 2,600 sq ft. Ample car parking is to be provided on site for customers. The new local centre will service the major new housing development, which is well advanced and being undertaken by David Wilson Homes and Barratt Homes, in addition to existing catchment to the east of Hucknall.
