Frasers Group is in talks to purchase full ownership of Princesshay shopping centre in Exeter, according to reports. The Times Reports that the Mike Ashley-founded retail group is in seperate discussions with joint owners Nuveen and The Crown Estate regarding a purchase of their respective 50% stakes in the scheme. If both negotiations go through, it is estimated that Frasers Group would invest around £80m into the shopping centre, which generates over £9.

Pan Asian-inspired quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand Chopstix has further strengthened its relationship with Haven, with two sites set to open at the operator's holiday parks this month. The two new units will open at Devon Cliffs, Exmouth, and Hafan y Môr, Gwynedd, following the successful launch of Chopstix at Thornwick Bay site earlier this year – a first with in partnership with Haven. The new restaurants bring the total number of Chopstix sites with Haven up to six, with the other units located at Presthaven, Haggerston Castle, and Craig Tara.

Nuveen has placed its 50% stake in Exeter's Princesshay Shopping Centre up for sale. The 400,000 sq ft asset comprises retail units, food and beverage and leisure space, and offices. Savills has been appointed to handle the sale, as is reported to be seeking around £40m for the 50% stake. The remainder of the asset is owned by The Crown Estate. Key tenants at Princesshay include Next, Zara, and Reiss, with F&B operators at the scheme including Nando's, Wagamama, and Yo!
