Wingstop is set to open its third restaurant in Glasgow at Silverburn. The fried chicken chain has agreed to take a 3,606 sq ft space, which will open this December. The signing forms part of an ongoing leisure expansion at Silverburn, with the scheme more than doubling its F&B and leisure space from 75,000 sq ft to 168,000 sq ft over the past three years. This has been led by the opening of flagship bowling concept King Pins in July.

Indoor leisure and recreation concept SuperPark is set to make its UK debut at Braehead Shopping Centre in Glasgow. The operator will open a 30,000 sq ft space early next year, offering 40 attractions, including challenges, sporting games, and freestyle activities. Founded in Finland, SuperPark operates in 26 parks worldwide across Finland, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. This marks the first major signing at the scheme since the announcement of Braehead Ambition, an initiative which has brought together the asset management, leasing, operational and marketing of Braehead Shopping Centre, Braehead Arena and Xsite.
