Stradivarius to make Glasgow debut at Silverburn

Stradivarius, the womenswear retailer owned by fashion giant Inditex, is set to join Silverburn shopping centre in Glasgow. The retailer will be taking a 6,462 sq ft unit for its first-ever store in Glasgow. Stradivarius's arrival at Silverburn means that the retail and leisure destination will soon host four Inditex brands with a line-up that includes the newly-opened Zara flagship and Pull&Bear, as well as the incoming Bershka which opens this summer.

AllSaints opens permanent store at Glasgow's Princes Square

AllSaints has opened a permanent store at Princes Square in Glasgow, following the success of its nearby pop-up last year. Located at Units 22 and 23, the fashion retailer's store spans 1,828 sq ft and adds to AllSaint's existing presence in Scotland, with the brand already operating stores at Silverburn in Glasgow and on Edinburgh's George Street. The store – which will open on Thursday 5th June – arrives after AllSaints launched a pop-up store in Princes Square in April 2024, which enjoyed strong sales and high footfall.

Praxis acquires Glasgow shopping centre

Praxis Group has acquired St Enoch Shopping Centre in Glasgow from a consortium of banks that included M&G and Morgan Stanley. The 12-acre scheme sits at the intersection of Buchanan Street and Argyle Street and comprises over 800,000 sq ft of retail and leisure accommodation. Tenants at the scheme include Tesco, WHSmith, Next, JD Sports, HMV, Boots, and Superdry. The shopping centre is also supplemented by 900 car parking spaces.
