British clothing and accessories retailer Weird Fish has opened its largest outlet store in the UK at Affinity Devon in Bideford. The relocated store – situated next to Tresspass – extends to 2,000 sq ft and opened at the beginning of May. It features the retailer's latest shop fit and technology, as well as its range of casual clothing. Weird Fish has been on an accelerated growth trajectory over the past year, and now operates over 30 stores in the UK.

Affinity Devon, the outlet shopping centre in Bideford, is set to welcome PureGym this summer. The arrival of the gym operator's 5,000 sq ft space will mark the opening of the first fitness space at the Devon-based outlet centre. PureGym at Affinity Devon will feature the operator's full range of fitness facilities, including gym equipment, instructor-led classes, and a free weights area, supplemented by free parking.

Canada Life Asset Management has completed the sale of a retail park in Devon for a final price that exceeded the quoting level. Roundswell Retail Park in Barnstaple had been placed on the market earlier this year with a minimum price tag of £14.5m. Located on a 7.19 acre site, the 73,500 sq ft asset is anchored by Aldi, with other tenants at the scheme including Dunelm, Home Bargains, Sports Direct, McDonalds, and Costa Coffee.
