LondonMetric Property has acquired a logistics warehouse in Bristol for £74m, reflecting a net initial yield of 5.65%. The 390,000 sq ft warehouse is pre-let to Marks & Spencer on a 20-year lease with five-yearly upwards-only rent reviews linked to the consumer price index. It is located at Axis Works in Bristol, adjacent to other LondonMetric warehouse investments in Avonmouth. The asset is being developed by Epta Development Corporation and its partner Stoford.

LaSalle Investment Management's plans to demolish and redevelop the Galleries Shopping Centre in Bristol into a mixed-use scheme have been green lit by councillors. The proposals – submitted in conjunction with Deeley Freed on behalf of Centrica Pension Fund – look to transform the 1990s-era shopping centre into a mixed-use development comprising residential, purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), office, retail and F&B, leisure, community, and cultural uses.

ODEON has signed for a new cinema venue at Hammerson's Cabot Circus in Bristol. Opening next year, the cinema brand becomes the 10th new occupier to sign at Cabot Circus in 2024, as Hammerson looks to bring new brands and experiences to the central Bristol shopping destination. Hammerson said a cinema was the most requested leisure experience, according to a survey, with the ODEON signing underpinning the group's vision to create a multi-use destination.
