The West Pier redevelopment plan will enhance it as the focal point of the town’s fisheries industry but seek to provide new multi functional public realm to host festivals and events alongside redeveloped heritage accommodation for catering, food and creative industries, alongside the working harbour space.

Building 1 will form accommodation for a landmark bar / restaurant / café at the entrance to the pier at Foreshore Road. This position will provide excellent visibility to customers and act as a gateway for the redeveloped area.

This historic building will be comprehensively reimagined from its existing use as public w/c and offices, with a fully glazed extension along its primary frontage to the pier, providing full facilities for an exciting destination for a operator within the food and beverage sector.
