Farringdon underground station is located in Clerkenwell, North-East London, in the Borough of Islington. The station is in underground zone 1 and served by the Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City lines. It is connected to the adjacent National Rail station which serves the mainline service, First Capital Connect, to Brighton and Luton. Farringdon will act as a hub for cross-London transport when the Thameslink and Crossrail developments are completed in 2018.
