Commercial property developer Stoford has let a unit in Leamington Spa to DIY and trade retailer Wickes on a fifteen-year lease. The 38,650 sq ft unit – which is located at Spa Park near the M40 – is a net zero carbon building with BREEAM Excellent and EPC A ratings. It is one of nine new environmentally sustainable assets that have been developed by Stoford. Combined, the units deliver around 500,000 sq ft of new office, research and development, production, and distribution space.

The group behind the Roxy Lanes, Roxy Ball Room, and King Pins brands has chosen Coventry to open the first venue for its new bowling concept. Professionals At Play, which recently rebranded from Roxy Leisure Holdings, will debut the Star Pins concept at West Orchards Shopping Centre in December. Spanning 32,000 sq ft, the venue will host a variety of games, including ten-pin Bowling, mini golf, darts, shuffleboard, ice-free curling, American pool, shooting pod, ping pong, and arcade games.

Clearbell Property Partners, a fund managed by Clearbell Capital, has agreed a deal with King Wingz to bring the American chicken wing diner to Belgrade Plaza in Coventry. Taking a 4,433 sq ft unit, the F&B operator has signed to the city centre destination on a 15-year lease. Opening in 2008, Belgrade Plaza spans 129,500 sq ft and offers a mixture of retail, leisure, and residential facilities.
