Wingstop and Bagel Factory are set to open new outlets at Hammerson's <a href="https://completelyretail.co.uk/scheme/Westquay-Southampton">Westquay</a> shopping centre in <a href="https://completelyretail.co.uk/shops-to-rent/southampton">Southampton</a>.



Signing for a 3,730 sq ft unit on a 15-year lease, Wingstop's new outlet will be its 33rd site in the UK.



Bagel Factory will be taking a 770 sq ft unit on a 10-year lease, and will join a number of other food and beverage offerings at the scheme including Tap and Tandoor, L’Osteria, Wagamama and The Real Greek.



Victoria Broadhead of Bruce Gillingham Pollard, which acted for Hammerson, said: “A vibrant and fresh food &amp; drink offer is an intrinsic part of Westquay and we are constantly looking for opportunities to bring in concepts that complement the shopping and leisure offer across this very successful centre”.

Bagel Factory is set to make its debut in the south of England with an opening at <a href="https://completelyretail.co.uk/shops-to-rent/southampton">Southampton's</a> <a href="https://completelyretail.co.uk/scheme/Westquay-Southampton">Westquay</a>.



The chain has reached a deal with <a href="https://completelyretail.co.uk/portfolio/Hammerson">Hammerson</a> to open in a 770 square foot venue in the food court, which will become Bagel Factory's third opening in 2023 and its 23rd nationwide.



Bagel Factory was acquired by one of Europe's biggest food operators, Cremonini Group, in summer 2012 in a deal rumoured to be worth around £2m.



Earlier this year, the group said it planned to more than double the size of its estate by 2025.

Wingstop is continuing its UK expansion, securing a site the former Bok Shop site in <a href="https://completelyretail.co.uk/shops-to-rent/southampton">Southampton's</a> West Quay.



The American chicken wings restaurant concept is being rolled out across the UK by Lemon Pepper Holdings, which recently opened its 35th UK site at Grey's Brewery Yard in <a href="https://completelyretail.co.uk/shops-to-rent/chelmsford">Chelmsford</a>.



More Wingstop restaurants are also set to open later on in the year in <a href="https://completelyretail.co.uk/shops-to-rent/islington">Islington</a>, <a href="https://completelyretail.co.uk/shops-to-rent/birmingham">Birmingham</a>, and Wood Green in <a href="https://completelyretail.co.uk/shops-to-rent/london">London</a>.



Wingstop are also reportedly in discussions to open restaurants in <a href="https://completelyretail.co.uk/shops-to-rent/hounslow?lat=51.46092179999999&amp;lng=-0.373149&amp;n=51.50931284156685&amp;s=51.44266825843314&amp;e=-0.33685945843313325&amp;w=-0.4258649415668667&amp;name=Hounslow">Hounslow</a>, <a href="https://completelyretail.co.uk/shops-to-rent/edinburgh-town?lat=55.953252&amp;lng=-3.188267&amp;n=56.00099164156686&amp;s=55.88142505843314&amp;e=-3.0686610584331335&amp;w=-3.3420164415668663&amp;name=Edinburgh">Edinburgh</a>, and <a href="https://completelyretail.co.uk/shops-to-rent/glasgow">Glasgow</a>.



Lemon Pepper Holdings is believed to be targeting 40 UK sites and revenues of over £60m by the end of 2023.
